Jerry Rishe worked as an attorney in the private sector capping his career as a trial attorney for Immigration and Naturalization Services. A true polymath, in retirement, Jerry lectures on a variety of subjects all across the County In June of 1919, in the remote waters of Scotland's Scapa Flow, German sailors deliberately scuttled more than fifty warships, sending an entire navy to the bottom of the sea. We will follow the remarkable journey of those ships - from symbols of imperial ambition to objects of salvage, scientific research and historical myth. We’ll examine the naval arms race, the Battle of Jutland, daring wartime exploits and the surprising legacy today.
