The Kids Track

A Sunday of building rockets, hunting clues and outsmarting werewolves, for a small group of young Mensans at the Regional Gathering. Parents come free.

$69 per child · no charge for accompanying parents

What kids will do

From ten in the morning to three in the afternoon:

Build an air-powered rocket

A hands-on STEM build: make your very own air-powered rocket, from the first idea to the finished thing.

Scavenger hunt

Follow the clues, team up and track down everything on the list.

Werewolves and Villagers

The social deduction game of bluffing and sharp thinking. Who can you trust?

Games, games, games

Games to play together, led with help from a young Mensan, and other young Mensans to play them with.

Meet To Meni-Trood

To Meni-Trood

To Meni-Trood has been a teacher for 27 years — high school, middle school and every grade of elementary — and works with LAUSD today. She chairs GLAAM's Gifted Youth Committee and its Outreach & Diversity Committee.

Her view: kids need different things at every age, and it matters that parents stay involved. The Kids Track is built that way. A young Mensan will help her lead the games and activities.
