Take the Mensa Admission Test
Sit the official Mensa admission test at StaRGazing 2027 — and stay for the rest of Saturday free as our guest: speakers, games, the keynote, and the Saturday night entertainment.
Free Saturday admission is open only to those who take and complete the test that morning, and it's for prospective members only— current and lapsed Mensa members aren't eligible. (Former members: your qualification never expires — rejoin anytime here, no retest needed.)

What to bring on test day
- A valid government-issued photo ID(driver's license or passport). Expired ID can't be accepted. Ages 14–15 may use a school photo ID with date of birth, or a birth certificate.
- Test-takers must be at least 14 years old. Younger gifted kids can qualify through prior evidence instead — ask us about the Gifted Youth route.
- Under 18? Bring a signed parental consent form (PDF) — signed by a parent or legal guardian and by the test-taker. Parents: you're welcome to sit the test at the same time as your teen.
- Arrive a few minutes early — the session starts promptly at 9:30.
Prefer to pay at the session? We accept cash, check, or card at the door — reserving online just guarantees your seat and materials. Results come from American Mensa as a qualification notice; scores aren't released. Didn't qualify before? You can retest 8 weeks after a previous attempt. Questions? Email gro.grmaalg@ofni.
